Oregon or Cali?

I just got home from a local coral farm with what I purchased as an Oregon tort, but there seems to be far too much green for me to believe that it’s an Oregon tort. Some of their corals are in lower light, so I suppose that it could have green from that, but I’d love to get your thoughts.

I apologize for the photos, but they are the best that I can do with my phone. Also, it isn’t happy because it was just dipped.

Definitely not an OG Tort. Looks like it could have potential though

Yeah, as soon as I saw it under my T5s, I had a feeling it wasn’t an Oregon tort. I wondered why he went to the greenhouse to get it when there was some in the frag system inside. I guess I’ll be placing an order for an OG Oregon tort.

Definitely not Oregon Tort. If you're interested in a true OG Oregon Tort, I have plenty of it. Here's one of my mommies

Based on your location and mentioning the greenhouse i believe i got my tort from the same place as you, i was also told all their blue tort was Oregon tort. Mine is getting tome green too and it doesnt look anything like a Oregon.

Was it from Reef Systems Coral Farm?

Yeah, it's super frustrating. I have been looking for an Oregon tort and a Pearlberry locally, but it looks like I am going to have to order them.

It’s not even the color alone that has me question. The Oregon tort skin has a more of a flat texture look to it. Hopefully that makes sense.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I wish I would have watched the employee grab it from the other tank because I would have seen that it isn't an Oregon tort. I posted my photos to verify that my suspicions were correct.
