Hi All,
so my Oreni tile fish which I purchased recently was showing some signs of flukes (trying to shake and get rid of them) so I decided to give him FW dip and than do Prazipro treatment.
It was the starting stage I am pretty sure.
During the FW dip like right around 1.30min mark it pooped and peed some Green stuff attached video. What do you think this is ?
poop looked like sand.
Today I see that its stomach is all empty. it is eating when food is offered so it should come back soon.

I just want to warn you before going into the treatment period, Tilefish tend to be sensitive to treatments like Prazi and can be hard to get through QT.
From the sounds of it your tilefish may have internal parasites as well as flukes and an empty stomach isn’t always good. How often do you feed?

He does look slightly skinny but also, the effects of Prazi won’t always show instantly.

I assume you have hiding spots for him? If you don’t I really recommend it, whether it’s fake rock or PVC piping. This will reduce stress for the tilefish and other fish in QT.

Hi, yes he got
Lot of hiding spots under the rock.
he stays hidden and comes out for food ones i drop it in. He swims around after eating.

I will keep close watch for his behaviour, if any signs will take him out. Got another qt setup ready in case needed.
