So on these forums I keep seeing an ad for these over and over

My question is I can't find anywhere coverage area they are supposed to be for. I do see which lense angel you want for how tall your tank is...but I see nothing even from the manufactor on how many to cover how much tank or how high to mount them. These are some important details.

LIke for a basic 4x2x2=120G would you want 2 of the 4 ft ones or 4 of them or 6 of them? Its hard to judge them when you have no idea how many of them you would need for a tank. And do you mount them 6 inch/10inch/18inch off the tank?

It kinda depends on mounting height? I have three OR2 60's (24") mounted roughly 9" above my tank and that height I'm covering about a 12" spread. Using them as the only source of light, I would use 4 to 6 depending on height and corals you're keeping? I can take a quick pic as soon as my lights turn off and show you the coverage based on my mounting scheme. These lights do pack a punch though, I really like them a lot.

Here's a side view with just my front mounted OR2 blue plus. My tank is 36x36x16 for reference.

This is from the front with just the right side on. It's completely dark in the room, so this picture seems darker than what it actually is, but hopefully this helps a little?

Thanks that helps a little but my main issues are these have no brightness control on them meaning you have to setup your coverage and par completely from how high you mount them and how many of them you mount...and they have no information on either of those things. So either they expect you to buy them as accent lights that cost as much as main lights...or they expect you to buy like 10 of them and 3 different height canopys and switch them out and canopy height in/out until your par meter is happy...this is 100% the opposite of what LED normally is. Even T5s they claim to replace offer dimming and you can look up exactly how many T5s are recommended for a certain width tank.
