Trying to organize all the power supply bricks under my tank but it’s a mess. (Power Supply Bricks - 2 radion lights, 2 mp40s, skimmer, and return pump). I built a board for my Apex and attached the power supply bricks to the backside of the board. Very tight under my tank and difficult to get at the wires.

Thinking about building a rack behind my tank stand to hold just the power supply bricks.

Interested what other Reefers have done to solve this problem?

Thank You!

Man do I feel your pain!
looks like thats the 425xl reefer?
Only saying this because it looks much like mine.haha

So I’m about to be the same situation as you.... apex literally just came in. Somehow I bought my Trident first????

I’m headed to Lowe’s today to get the black paint samples and color match. I’ve sent Red Sea an email a week ago on the type of paint. They said it was a Epoxy Laminate Paint.
I’ll build a cabinet side by side with the little space I have to work with. My goal is to basically make it look like it came from Red Sea.
I have a junk IPad that’s been collecting dust for years and I’ll use that is the master controller, which will be mounted on top of the cabinet.

I’m interested in how people made this work for below their cabinet! My wife hates the idea of a second cabinet!
Here’s what my current setup looks like:

I did exactly what you described. 3/4” MDF. Hangs them vertically and spaced so all the heat can dissipate. Also inherently creates drip loops.

When it comes to power cords try to mount power strips and bricks up high underneath the cabinet even upside down. Why because this naturally forms drip loops in all of the cords . 2cents
