Original nightmares?

Are the original nightmare palys still around? Seems like everyone is renaming a "maul" type paly a nightmare if it has small spots. I found something similar from Cherry Corals, maybe the same "species", but not quite the same.

Amazing how fast the hobby changes when you can be nostalgic about 4 years ago It is interesting to search through the zoanthid identification database and look back. Armageddon IIs became just Armageddons because nobody knows the original.

FWIW, I grew the original nightmares for about 2 years before they decided their time was up. I think I only ever cut one frag.
