Very cool.

The one time I used gulf live rock I had one pesky red algae that was branchy, brittle, red with bluish tips. It spread everywhere. It looks like you don't have what I had.

With 100 lbs of live rock, I can’t identify everything on rock. One live rock has more red macro than I can identify. I have identified two different Halymenia and Bortacladia.

I may have had that in the past. It had a paler color and did not display well so I weeded the garden.

with summer here, I am spending much time gardening.

It’s been a few months. Tank is doing well with zero water changes in 8 months since set up.

Just did get a grab bag of red macro from live plants. I so much prefer the effect of reduced lighting with 10K spectrum.

This is 55G tank set up 10 months ago with Gulf LivevRock.
