Ornate wrasse with melanurus wrasse?

hi all,
I recently bought myself an ornate wrasse which is doing great. While I was at my lfs I saw a beautiful melanurus wrasse and I was wondering if they would be fine together.

my tank is 150 leters (40 gallons ) would that be too small for 2 wrasses?

I don't have a problem keeping multiple Halicheorus wrasses together per se but I wouldn't put two in a 40 gallon.

In a small tank and food competition. I wouldn't thats asking for trouble
