ORP range?

I find that my orp level drops If something died in the tank. The bigger the droppped, the bigger the dead fish/snail
 
When Lower than 270, it means a problem on my reef. My last problem was excess of biopellet reactor, after shut down ORP increased daily.

Avg is 400 for me. It will fluctuate (be the inverse) of PH.

Don’t worry, it often takes a couple of weeks to achieve constant levels. Mine started low as well and over a month gradually reached 400 or so. The tank was 2 years old at that time. It runs at 380 - 410 very consistently. If I wash equipment with peroxide and rinse extensively prior to returning to the tank, ORP immediately falls to 250 or so then returns to 400 within a couple of hours. I do a 20% water change once a month which has essentially no effect on ORP.

My tank is only a few months old. I believe it started below 200. It recently stabilized to about 370:
