I shall keep an eye on it. I have noticed it does go up and down depending on the time of day but not a huge amount,Good safety measure.Long story short, even Randy says ORP and what it means to the reef is not very clear. As long as it doesnt drop like a rock or shoot up like a rocket, it doesn't mean anything. If it does one of those things, it can mean something is wrong or possibly dead.

This I have noticed. So right now I’m dosing Kalk via ATO and PH goes up but ORP goes down in correlation with topping off.Right, it well generally be the inverse of your ph. It will also drop a little after top off, or a water change, or dosing certain additives.
