Purchase a new orphek v4 and everything is set up and working. The only problem I'm having is when I set a program it doesn't stay. I will hit send and the program shows up but it always goes back to the slow acclimation program. Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or had this problem?

I have this same problem on the iPhone app and just learned to live with it. Your settings will stay on the lights so no worry. However, most of the time, the app does not save / recognize your custom settings and you have to re-enter (when you want to tweak something). In the beginning, this was a pain, but now it doesn't bother me since I don't change my settings anymore.

Also, the lights get disconnected from the Gateway device regularly, which makes the lights unresponsive in the app. I have to power cycle / reboot the gateway device to interact with the lights again.

Beautiful lights but the app can be painful to use (I heard they are working on a new app though).

It's normal. Once you hit 'send' and it confirms the program has been saved to the light(s), they will maintain whatever settings/program you just sent. Once you either return to the main page in the app, or leave and then re-enter the app, the app will default to showing the 'slow acclimation' program page since it is the first program in the program list, but the last program you sent is the one the lights are running.

Unlike ACF930, my custom settings are always present. It just takes a moment after I turn on my iPhone wifi (I typcially keep wifi off on my phone to extend battery life) for the app to reconnect to the lights and show my custom-named programs in the program list. They've never gotten lost or disappeared though.

I also haven't had any trouble with gateway connectivity other than having to reboot and update the gateway twice when I first set it up.

My problem is it doesn't stay on the program. I woke up this morning and it was back on slow acclimation

I have not experienced that problem yet. My lights maintain their programs. However, the iPhone app is glitchy. I work in software development too, so I can always replicate these issues in the app and I've seen other people having issues with it.

I haven't seen that problem either. How do you know its the acclimation program? Have you set your personal program say 2 hours earlier to come on to ensure the right program is coming on?

Mine are on track and return to setting I set up, but I also did unplug gateway so that I don't get color change especially when not home

Just wanted to add if you make any changes to your program and are using clouds you need to send the command again after as it won't show in the app if you are or are not using them. They are recommended by the way.

I have a custom slow acclimation with different times. I don't do clouds but it always shows clouds in the top right. When in click on clouds it shows that they are off.

Checking your light is very easy, all you have to do is to go to Program by clicking on "Program"
Once you are in the Program screen you will find 2 buttons or more buttons on the bottom of the screen.
"ALL" button (right side of the screen) that is to replicate the same program for all lights,
and the other button (s) on the left side, with your light (s) name (s).
Please kindly click on the name of the light that you wish to check.
Once you have clicked on its name it will load the program that is running this specific light.
So this way you will be able to see which program has been set to run your light.
