Looking at all different lighting options this was one that was recommended but cant see much about them?

I have been told they are better than radions?

It is one of a few im looking at
I have T5 at the moment so I want something with equal spread. The Orphek seem to have a heck of a lot of LED's, although the evergrow pro reef are a lot cheaper
My problem is I dont know anyone anywhere near me with one so im going of hear say.

My tank is 72x20x30 high so I need the light penetration but with it only being 20" front to back not sure what would give me good spread.
Ive also looked at Pacific Sun Hybrid best of both worlds but I want to get away from having to change bulbs all the time.

There is minimal information on them, but I dug as hard as I could. There are several lighting options. I looked at the Orphek Atlantik Compact which looked great. They manufacture in house LED 5watt which are the most powerful I have found. Penetration with this light is not a problem. They cost $750 to 950 for the full size model. Reach out to [email protected]. He is the sales rep for USA. He responds pretty quick and will answer all your questions. Its a great light which will meet just about any need.

+1 On both these points.

Quite a few Orphek Atlantik users on this forum. Dig in and find them, see their tanks. The lights sell themselves.

(Strangely, sadly perhaps, I no longer see [HASHTAG]#Orphek[/HASHTAG] as a site sponsor.)

Here is my fixture. Channel 1 is just ramping up

I wish mine looked that good!
I do too much experimenting lol
Pest control is knowledge! :-)

Once a person gets used to the intensity settings the Atlantik is just beutiful

Give me a min, and I'll try to snap a pic of my custom program.......

I have the Atlantik V1. I've had them for about 3 1/2 yrs. I run (3) of them over my 48x36x24 tank. I currently run the coral color mode. I haven't programmed mine. I found the setting works for my tank. Nothing bad to say about Orpheks

Do u have pics of ur tank ? I'd love to see it.

Here you go @mOnsterOas26. Mine are 18" off the waters surface. Those pics were probably at my peak, or ramping down from there.

You may want to build up to those 100% levels over time. I did, and I wouldn't want you to burn anything.

Scott had repeatedly told me that optimum spectrum and intensity from the Atlantiks, and the best for SPS, would be from 100% on all channels. He said that should be my goal. I trusted that.

Thank you so much castAway
My tank its 32"x24"x20 tall and I have it 12" above the water , do u think 50% on all channels it's to much to start with ? Or you think it's safe ?
