Orphek Atlantik V4G2 layout for 250G ?

Hello,

I’m in the process of designing my 250 gallon eurobraced reef display tank. Dimensions are 80”x30”x24”.
What are your guys thoughts for lighting using the diagram I drew up for my spaceing. I don’t want to have shadowing that’s why I’m thinking Atlantiks are best over xr30, because if I do xr30 I feel I would need two rows to cover 30” width

I love my Atlantik. If it were my tank, I'd add one more for a total of 5, or, add 5 OR2 24 inch light bars alternating the Atlantik fixtures. I

5? That would barley fit ? Wouldn’t I get light spill out the sides.

The lenses on the Orphek are pretty narrow. I think you would not have an issue.

How high up are you mounting them? You could raise them a bit and run it that way to start. Then as things grow if you needed a 5th unit, add one.

Not sure yet. Maybe start with 12-18 inches or you think that’s too high ?

Not at all. They recommend 13 inches or so I believe.
