About to buy lights for my 300XL, want to go Orphek. My tank sits in a room with 16ft ceilings so hanging isn't really and option.

The mounting arms won't fit with the overflow on the 300XL. Can you move the mounting hardware to where the T nuts are on the 4 corners of the light?

Not sure if they come out or what..

Orphek has mounting hardware but I believe can also be mounted to radios RMS bar

Yeah the hardware to put on tank won't work with the overflow, that's why I'm asking if you can switch the t nuts and mounts, it would work fine.

I hadn't seen the RMS mount work, I'll look that up.

yes you can move the nuts to the outer position, I did exactly that to tank mount an Icon over my frag and to hang Icons over my display. My lighting rack is hung from 16’ ceilings, just have to buy longer stainless rope from Amazon or HD

I take it they just unscrew and you can move them?

do you know how they would mount to the RMS bar? ive been scouring the forums but dont see anything and want to be sure before I pull the trigger and replace my xr15's
With little modifications, rms should work
You can also have a shop fabricate something for you
