Orphek OR3 led

OR3 sky blue times 2 or should I get sky blue with a uv/violet led. Keep in mind the OR3 sky blue now has uv/violet leds on it as the OR2 did not. Fyi it will be ran with a maxspect razor r420r. Any help deciding will be appreciated...,

I've read the uv/violet only helps with green and yellows fluoresce and isn't the most ascethicslly please being used singularly. However used in conjunction with a sky blue strip along with the maxspect I'd only imagine it would add even more colors to make your tank more visually appealing. While also giving your tank more uv light which is beneficial for corals longevity. I don't have find hand experience but just my 2 cents.

OR2’s has purple and uv. I own them.

I just go the OR3 Blue Plus. Im assuming thats what sky blue means? Anyways, gives nice pop in color. I run it between some T5s. Love it so far.

Yes but only in OR2 not new OR3. Not for couple weeks they said. Tommy did say the new blues have uv/violet LEDs on it

Yes, when I looked at my OR3, seemed some of the LEDs were UV and violet.

Yeah I was just saying the OR3 doesn't have a separate uv/violet strip yet like the OR2, but does have OR3 does have some bulbs built in now where it didn't on OR2. I think the OR3 blue is good enough so I got 2 of them instead of waiting for the OR3 uv/violet bar to be produced. I was going to get one of each is all. Thanks for help.
