Orphek OR3

I currently have a 48" 6 bulb ATI and I just bought two Orphek OR3 48" bars. They were $150 each brand new from one of our sponsors which I thought was a great deal since people try to sell them used for more on here. Has anyone attached them to there ATI? I was wondering if you can post a picture so I could get some ideas. I was thinking of just screwing them to each side instead of hanging.

This was on my frag tank, they are the OR2. They came with the brackets that you screw onto the ATI. I think I drilled holes into the unit for the bracket. I have the OR3s as well and they came with the same brackets as well. Love the OR3s they give off a fantastic colour.

This is another idea, I used aluminium struts and attached the OR3s on either side and the strut sits on top the light. Although this is on an Illumagic and not an ATI.

That's real interesting. Where did you get that piece you attached it to?

I am in South Africa and got it from a company called modusam. They are Aluminium Extrusion Profiles. This is a 30mm profile. I see Stan from Tidal Gardens uses these to make his stands for his tanks so they should be available in the USA.
