Hey all, il be upgrading to a 57 gallon rimless soon that is coming with a orphek PR156 fixture. Looking for opinions or experiences with these light fixtures, as ive never used one before. Are they dimmable , what lens do they come with? also i see they are not full spectrum. What you guys think ?

They are not dimmable and you have two options on lens. I have them on my tank with 180 degree optics. They are great lights and my corals are doing very well with them . My only regret Is I wish I had ordered the 20k leds. They do have the correct spectrum and you will not be disappointed.

im not sure what lens they have , the previous owner purchased them. i dont like that they are not dimmable im so scared to use them as my 40 breeder is doing amazing right now with a reef radiance dm155e. was thinking of selling the orphek and running two dm155e on the 57 gallon. but seeing the price of this fixture it has to be good..\

do you have a pic of your tank somewhere, want to see it with the orphek

Very curious also. I have a d.c 3000 pump and it's a beast.

I am mainly sps no zoas . Sps love these lights. They are very strong lights. I did a lot of research before buying and I believe these are one of the best leds out there.

The PR-156 comes with 2 lens options.

1. 90 degree- These lenses are clear and are easy to tell from the other option. They are meant for deep tanks (48"+)

2. 120 degree honeycomb- These lenses look frosted or like the have a pattern on top of them. They will soften the intensity while still allowing good penetration for depths up to 40".
