Hello! I am trying to create a siphon break for my osmolator. Will a MUR-LOK fitting work with the black tunze tubing? Want to create a "T" so that air can enter the line and create the break. Thanks!

A 1/4” quick connect Murlok Tee will accept 1/4” or 6.35mm OD tubing. My understanding is that the black tubing used for the Tunze ATO pump is 4mm ID x 7mm OD. So it may be a hair to big to properly fit and seal.

Let’s wait and see what Roger has to say...

Mur-lok Reducing Union 3/8" x 1/4" Push Connect

It can be forced into a 1/4" fitting, but it fits so tight that once it is in, good luck ever getting it out, I have done it before to blow out a clogged tube with an RO faucet adapter and it was a bear to get in and I ruined the fitting getting it out. you could shave a bit off the hose, the wall is pretty thick. I know people use the 3/8" to 1/4" directly on the pump to adapt it to 1/4" tubing.
