This is soooooo off topic but the threads been so slow maybe this will bring a few people in?

Well big guy whadda ya say my car....your bike.....highway :)

BTW......thats only on 100 octane and kinda semi high boost :P

lol, 900hp @ less than 6k rpm?.. thats ungodly, who needs traction right?

VERY large displacement Turbo car :) look at the hp/tq band lol it hooks up just fine on a nice tire :P

Well the body is a mustang the motor is based off an LS1 and the turbo is very close to the 100mm mark

I'll bet it goes very fast in a straight line. Personally I like to be able to corner faster than most.

I have another car that goes around the turns, this one is just a junk pile with a big snail on it :P

Just your way of supporting the petroleum industry, right?

Actualy, i drive a car that gets 40+mpg daily the two "track" cars dont make it out very often :)

That's what I'm saying, just owning a 900 HP car is doing your part to help the petrol industry. It never even has to leave the garage! LOL

the best part about it........it uses CORN!!!! its tuned on e85 (100-104 octane) + alk injection

I was thinking about an ls1 type engine for a 69 camaro I have laying around. The little bit of research I did led me to think it would cost alot more than a bb chevy build, but I am still thinking on it.

Mike, It depends what you want to do with it. building a turbo LS1 is going to give you WAY more HP for less $$$ than a BBC. to push a BBC to the numbers i can make full out (well over 1000hp) is going to cost WAY more than the turbo LS1....ALSO I could drive this car around all day every day with no problems on the tune shown above on the dyno sheet.

try doing that on a BBC not gonna happen!!!

I will have to do some more homework. I already have a 67 camaro with an aluminum headed bbc with a tko600 tremec behind it. Super fun car. but its a nose heavy burn out machine. For my 69 I would like to go for a touring style build. A friend of mine is dreaming up a ls7/mustang combo. The ls7 427 ci? sounded very enticing until I heard the cost$$$ of the motor. I still can dream though!!

You ever have questions/need help feel free to ask we make it down to TX once a year during the summer! maybe we can have a car/frag meet :)

That sounds good, there is a race track pretty close to me too. temple/academy dragway I havent gone in awhile so my drag car is probably sitting on the trailer dying of boredom cause it has a lame owner

Sure!!!

but heres the thing, itll be 88 westbound and starts from rte 59, :)

we start from the on ramp :)

straight lines are easy, corners ar funnn

This statement goes out to my buddy Pakora...

I love how a lot of Ford guys, especially mustang guys put chevy engines in them..lol
