Well everyone pretty much knows were I work since we have had a meeting there. So like usual for me anyways a new job fell in my lap out of no were. This girl I went to school with sent me over a Facebook post of some one looking for a executive chef. I checked it out and realized I worked with this guy before actually twice. So I add her pm him my number. I went and checked the place out on Saturday. By Monday I was help create the menu. Today I went back up and talked money. I got what I wanted except I'm taking a little less while we get the place in order once it's opened I'm at my full rate. I'm opening a restaurant in downtown New Britain. I know we got a few reefers from there.

Wow we all think alike. That was my same exact thought. It's the old pub on main it's gonna be Tavern on main. It's actually very nice inside.
Both. Focus is gonna be on burgers done better than any were else. Every one loves burgers. Also other pub food steaks a little seafood panini salads. Will also run a big specials list off other things what ever we feel like doing

Congratulations Phil! Although I was hoping it was somewhere nearby here. My brother works at Char Bar in Hilton Head which is known for their burgers - check them out for some ideas. Now you need a good LFS near the restaurant so we all have a good excuse for a road trip.
