OT Macro shots

Great shots! I think that's a Gypsy moth.

I believe that it is a Cecropia moth from the giant silk moth family. Beautiful moths.....I used to raise them with my son as a hobby.

Nice shots, some of my first attempts with macro photography was photographing flowers, much easier than fish since they don't move

Thanks everyone! I took a few more pics this morning of some flowers and a salamander I found hiding in a bush. I'll post them up in a minute.

Nice macros! What kind of set up are you using?

I'm using a Canon XSi and these were shot with a Tamron 90mm macro.

Wonderful shots!!!! But I was sort of looking for Oregont Tort pics LOL.
