OT: top soil and sod..

hey guys just wondering where you get your top soil from? i'm gonna be redoing my front lawn and will probably need a half truck load.
also thinking about getting sod instead of planting seeds.. any recommendations on sod type? oh yeah i'm in the antioch area..

The Rock Place in Murfreesboro off of Murfreesboro Rd. sells top soil by the yard. I would recommend getting zoysia sod (hard to find). I have it in my front yard and for the kinda weather we get around here, it's by far the best grass.

Zoysia is nice but don't like how it changes color in the winter.

Who cares about grass on the winter? You're not really out there having a picnic or anything on it when it's cold outside. Besides I kinda like the golden look it has in the winter.

Just thought I'd share a pic of a lawn I fertilize that is zoysia. This is only half the yard and is right on the ocean.
