Hey me and friend will be going to chattanooga in a couple of weeks . Going to see the aquarium and all the changes they have made since i was there last. Anyone know any good eating places near it or on the interstate the way back. Any kinda food would be ok as long as it does not break the bank. What about fish stores in the area? any worth visiting? thanks

Burmuda Triangle is a nice store to look through. Very clean and a good variety of livestock. Prices are high though.

When we go that way we eat at Cracker Barrel in South Pittsburg on the way back.

Good luck.

When we visited the aquarium, we enjoyed the City Cafe Diner near the convention center (a long walk or easy by free electric shuttle) and Thai Smile about 0.1 mile (very much walking distance). My suggestion is if you have time, jump on the free electric shuttle and jump off when you see something interesting. Not worth the hassle of driving once you get the car parked somewhere.

If you are in the mood for a great steak try J.Alexander's (they can be a bit pricy though). Cheeburger Cheeburger downtown has great burgers, fries, and onion rings (make sure you get the basket of frings if you go!) And Nikki's is a Chattanooga staple. They are little hole in the wall diner, but delish!! Order the 6 piece shrimp dinner (yes their shrimp is larger than chicken fingers) with onion rings! Sooo good! Hope you enjoy Chattanooga!!

thanks im going on sat the 9th driving up seeing the aquarium and grabbing a bit to eat afterwards looking for something close the Thai smile may get a visit from me

Joe joe

If you got time take one of the river cruises. The aquarium super duper boat is amazing.

Others have a dinner cruise type thing.

might have to wait till it warms up before i do the boat thing plus in spring or summer everything will be green again
