Since I started my new hobby in saltwater. Every one is trying to give me their Tanks. I have two ppl right now that want to unload thier whole Aquarium. One is a 50 gal with one clown and other little critters. And the other is a 40 gal with 3 clowns. I like the 40 gal and my wife does to and was thinking of put it down stairs in the play room. My new bio cube is in my office not ready for fish yet.
The 40 gal i think i will put a bio wheel on it to make it easy. Since I am very new at running a saltwater.
But now sure what to do with the 4 clowns..

Any ideas?

Trade them into the LFS for a little store credit... I wouldn't really run the bio-wheel tho, better off drillin and addin a sump if it doesn't already have one.

psshh wish some would unload there tank on me I could use an upgrade from my biocube 29gal. Im located in the philadelphia area if there are any of these crazy people who just give tanks away around me I'll be more then accepting. haha

You can join your local reef club and give the clowns to a fellow reefer.

What are you looking for?

Check creigslist... people move and can't take their tanks.
The one tanks that has the 3 clowns is a friend of my wifes. Her and her hubby on splitsville and he left the tank behind, and she want it to go to a good home.
:clap2:

Well ideally I'd be upgrading to a solona 60 cube but no one in there right mind is leaving that behind. I would really like any type of breeder, I love tanks that have the same depth as hight. I check craigslist all the time and all the prices I find are still very high. I'm not married nor are any of my friends so that takes away my chance of that happening.

My buddy here inherited a entire 75 gallon reef the night before the owner had to move. What the heck that guy would have done if we didn't come by to take it i have no idea.

funny thing is that same friend of mine gave away his 150 gal when he moved 2 years later. I guess he felt like it was passing on karma or something.

I agree with SeahorseKeeper, I think you should pass the clowns to good homes.

I feel the same way. If you get free , give free. The whole pay it forward.
Before I pass any thing along, I want to see what happen first.

I stop by one tank today and got a few rock and when i got home there were a small crab in it shell in the bucket. So I just put it in the tank. I also got my water tested and the guy at the LFS said I am almost ready.
