Ouch! Fire Gobi injury

One of my Fire Gobis lost its dorsal fin! Has anyone seen this? Any idea if it will grow back?

I've had my clowns bite them off don't know if it will grow back but I believe it should.

Poor guy I'm not sure but hopefully it recovers completely.

It'll grow back in time but I'm guessing someone bit it off and I'm guessing they would do it again. Do you know the culprit? I would remove one or the other.

I have two clowns, but they are pretty small. I also have a Powder Blue Tang. I is also a juvenile (about 2" long). I have 2 Kauderns Cardinals, and aa Coral Beauty. I have never seen any aggression among my inhabitants, so I'm pretty surprised

. I intentionally choose species that would get along (or tried to!).

Clowns or powder blue would be my primary culprit. Powder blue are extremely aggressive. Typically more towards tangs whereas clowns are fiercely territorial. My money is on the clowns

I have not seen any signs of aggression at all. I have no idea who the culprit was.

Looks like it's growing back nicely. When I got my firefish he was pretty beat up and his dorsal fin was actually broke in half and just barely hanging on. The end eventually fell off and it ended up growing back. Now all his fins are back to normal and he's happy and healthy. That's part of the fun of this hobby knowing you've given your fish a good home so it's been cool to see him get back to that. Hopefully yours will do the same and this won't happen again.
