Totally agree with you Chris! You have no idea how many times I've walked over there to start another project & just got caught up staring into the tank lol, half an hour later I still haven't started what I went to doWho needs a tv when you have something so beautiful as your tank to watch!! I would not get anything else done if I had it.
The tank really helps with the COD rage when your spawn killed, just look over at the tank. Thanks Mr. Hobby, no idea to be honest mate. I think there's a better pic somewhere, I'll try & find a few. There's about 10 Chalice in the tank now & still a dozen or more in the sump to go be brought up to the DT. I think you'd class our tank as Chalice / SPS dominated lol.you got some sweet chalices. What is the Chalice on the left?
We've had a lot of them for awhile now, but there is always something new to be found around the traps.awesome chalice collection. You must have had them for a while to have them be so large. Always admired people who are able to successful grow SPS and LPS in the same systems given their requirement differences.
Thanks revWOW awesome!

Things have really settled down now thanks Bond. Since the last syphon it's nowhere near as bad. One more clean & I think we should be doneReally cool build,...subscribed !
Don't know how your dino thing is coming,...but I get off on other things myself when they show up.
Here is a interesting thread here on R2R,...only a few pages and I have just started to raise my ph so I don't know the outcome yet,...but the op says it worked for him.

Thanks SeaHorseSmile, If you make a good coffee & handy around the place I'll find a spot for you lol. We have worked on somewhere between 5-6 tonnes all up. About 4 ton of water, tank is around 500Kg's, stand is around 500Kg's plus all the MDF, plywood, acrylic & equipment. Kinda scary so we don't think about that lol, I only think about that when I'm under the tank.Absolutely AMAZING can I move in........ :3} What is the total weight of it with water???
The switches are similar to the Chauvet boards you have over there, just upgraded to handle the higher power over here. 8 sockets on the back, 8 switches on the front. We had the blues switches fitted as they are not standard.Amazing. What are you using as power switches? (The blue ones)
Love your thinking with the wife Kenger lol. In no way a 7ft tank "mere" you'll have lots to do for the whole build & beyond. For when a ten-foot tank just isn't big enough. On the one hand, you make me jealous as all get-out as I'm planning out my "mere" 7-foot, 250 g setup. On the other hand, you give me ammo to say to my wife, "See, 250 gallons isn't so big!"
Curious, though, why would you go through all the hassles of such a swap-out to replace a ten-footer with a twelve-footer?

Thanks mate, still have heap to stick own tho. The first lot that went in are starting to show growth signs, but a couple also not happy where they are & have to be moved.Awesomeness!!!
Now grow out time
By fixtures I'm taking it you mean the lights?Sorry if I missed it,...what fixtures are you using ? Thanks,---Rick
Mate, now that cracked both of us up lol, that's funny

Thanks for the kind words Frogman, tear down & setup to me nearly all of August to do. Everyday was tank related & the help of many friends moving the big bits around. I'll throw up another FTS next week if not before lol, as there will be another dozen or so corals moved up to the DT.Impressive! I just helped a friend move his 300 gallon tank, I can't even imagine setting up that mammoth!!!
Looking forward to following the thread and seeing the tank mature. You've done stellar mate. Great job!
