The thing is 4bulbs costs the same as the fixture and I don’t want to be spending $80 yearly to replace bulbs.

I know this all to much... we have 2x 29g tanks now with 20g sumps on both... just bought a 55g over the weekend thinking of setting it up as a softy coral only tank
