That is why I have been using the reef salt 2.5 years:)

Great video guys,

Ive used a fair few buckets of the reef salt very happy with the quality but ive just started my first probiotic bucket this week to see how it compares :)

Cool video!

Why doesn’t the regular salt you sell come sealed up like this?

Great video and great products, keep them coming!!! I have been using Aquaforest for over a year and have been very successful with it...
Thank You team Aquaforest

Absolutely excellent video! That huge reef tank at the 4:17 mark is INSANE!! I'd love to learn more about that system!

Here you can read more about history of the tank and its maintenance routine https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/aquaforest-display-tank-mixed-reef-5500-l-1450-us-gal.334372/

25 kg salts packed in cardboards are sealed with Aquaforest tapes (there is no way to open it without damaging cardboard or tape), the inside packaging is the same as in plastic boxes. So if you're worried about quality of packaging - you shouldn't be. The salt is well protected. And the reason for cardboard is very simple - logistics ;)

Very nice !!!
Would love to have one or two of these Acrylic mixing/stirrer units as a reactor ;)

Unfortunately there is not much info in the video of the salt blending process.
Is there any info that can be shared about the amounts of different salts being used and how it's been blended @Aquaforest ?

Andre, even if we're as transparent as it is possible, we can't reveal our technology process

Understand ;)

I was unsure how much secret the manufacturers keep about the mixing of the salt which is a crucial factor in the consistency of the end products. And I got personally very disappointed by some of your competitors, hence I was hoping to get some background on your mixing philosophy.
But the repeated testing of the batches is a great factor in the quality process, glad you guys do that and publish your results.

Ive been using Red Sea Pro Coral salt for 2.5 years and have been happy about quickly it mixes up. I also saw a video about how they extract the raw salt from the Sea, very fascinating. Do you guys start with raw salt? I used Instant Ocean/Reef Crystal for years before I switched to Red Sea...mainly because I liked how RS mixes up and its batch tracking I can look at. I’m seeing very nice results with my first sps Purple Stylo. Do you feel your product would take me to the next level? Always open to trying new products. Nice video, amazing tanks!
