I had an orange shoulder tang that did the same thing for about two weeks when i first got him

With some strong feeding and some selcon, He changed completely back to yellow.

This tang will never change back yellow. It is an abnormality, not caused by stress.

Yes the pattern is the same on the other side. They are very rare, but not unheard of there are plenty of them in captivity.

Nothing. They sometimes have black in them too.
