Our tank's biology up close

Just wait until you get a load of aiptasia up close with some scrapping from the side of the sump. Holy cow this is cool.
 
This answers some questions I've had on some of the things in the past. An absolutely amazing creature.

I used a concave slide for this one as the body was thick.

So back in March I found this strange "thing" from a sample of detritus off the rocks in my sump

Note the clear "feelers" on the bottom there

Just after 3 minutes is also interesting to see what it's doing with those and relating to some things I saw last night.

Were you able to get any good shots of this under the microscope or did I just miss them?

It takes me time which it's time that has a lot of competition between family and work.
Man I love this thread! If you ever stop posting I'm going to have to get a microscope!
