wow very nice! how about some mangroves growing out of the island? that would be neat
 
thats actually in the plans a friend of mine has about 300 of them we want to get a bunch , as well in my growout i have mangroves but i dont want to uproot them so ill get some others for our display:)

So you gave in to our nagging! Awesome collection! I wanna see some fiddler crabs on those islands (dunno if they're reef safe, but that would look cool, wouldn't it?)!

wow! what a great read and excellent thread! you did a great job with story telling and that you're both in this together is really cool. Your idea and then execution was excellent. Just when I was thinking, oooh...a video would be cool to see the waterfall and boom, next post is a video lol - thanks for the taking the time to share your journey :)
 
thank you very much that was very kind , we like theme tanks so we wanted to think outside the box and i design aquariums and sumps for a living for a aquarium fabricator so its something i had on the back burner for a while now but was just too poor to start lol
