hi, hopefully I post in the right place.

After hurricane Irma, have no power for 1 day and still losing the A/C.
My corals start bleaching and some of them die.

My recent temperature of the tank is 84. I try everything to low the degrees down a little.
I'm using a Hydra Twentysix HD lighting system. But since the day I install the light, my corals start dying and bleaching too.

I want to know is it all about my lighting? Because my water test is fine..I could not know if there something else is wrong.

Thanks a lot

The stress from the power outage.....just keep things health as you can now. The ones that can pull through, will pull through.

I would not pull out any coral skeletons for at least a few weeks in case there are small comebacks.

First of all thank you so much for replying.
I will try to do the best for my little aquarium.

And do u think is my lighting too?
Because I installed the new light 2 weeks ago and my corals start bleaching and dying..before the storm.
My heart is broken...

I'm sorry you and everyone else that were in the path of the hurricanes had to suffer, and are still suffering.

Along with what everyone else said I'd like to add...
If you need a temporary fix to bring temps down you could get some good ziplocks, fill em with ice and try to bring your temps down to normal reef levels.
You're gonna have to do it multiple times, but it works

The power outage then the high temp will do this./ I am sorry for your losses but keep your chin up. Things will heal. Some people keep water bottles frozen for these hurricanes to drop the temps. Good luck on your come back!

IF you had a different light it could be possible to shock the corals. Always best to start the light at the minimum and slowly work up the intensity.

Wish you well on the recovery I to am in Florida and been out of power for 4 days with no end in site.

Thanks a lot, I've been putting ice pack in the back of the tank all day..
It drop 2 degrees from 87....

I'm in Miami with no power for 5 days. If you can float frozen bottles of water in the tank it does make a difference. My house is 83 but the tank is 79-80. I closed up the room the tank is in and left the shutters up to keep it cooler. I don't have coral so my situation is a little different. I have battery-powered air pumps which agitate the surface of the water and I swish it around too when I'm at the house. Good luck!

Sorry to hear that from both of you....hopefully things will get better this week.
Good luck guys and thanks for the advice..

I lose my Midas fish today.... the water got too hot and it jumped out of the tank,
Die on the floor.. I have this fish for so long and so good..

r.I.p...
