Helloooooooo gorgeous :)

Looking to install my new lights what's the recommended height off the top of a tank for leds? I have a canopy from the top of the cross beam of the tank to the top of the inside of the canopy is 10 inches I'm thinking to keep the lights cool and for access to the switches and knobs on top it's gotta be hanging down some so am I going to have to raise my canopy? Of so how? Any thoughts would be appreciated and hurry please so excited lol I'll be hitting refresh until I get a response lol

What is the angle of the lenses on the LED fixtures? As for how to hang them in your canopy, you can drill holes in the canopy top and use threaded rod that will fit the threaded holes on your fixtures. Then you can use a nut inside and out to set height and keep that height. Make sure to use a lock nut on the top.

It's the galaxy hydro lights none of my info states the degree of the lenses that I see so far

So take out the 4 mounting screws and just screw in threaded rod? Got a pic somewhere?

From Amazon, it appears there a 4 eyelets on the top. If those unscrew, take one to Homedepot or local hardware store and find a threaded rod that matches the thread of the eyelet. Also pick up some non-locking nuts and lock nuts to hold the threaded rod in place. You could also try one of the methods others employ on here. Look at a bunch of the tank builds here and you should get an idea.

I really appreciate your ideas :-) I went with a I bolt through the top of the canopy and modified the stock wire hangers a bit to get it closer to the roof of the canopy
