So for the last couple of week I have bee battling this type of algae. Not sure what it is but is a pain (see picture below). My PO3 is 0.06 via Hanna. I was thinking of using Chemiclean but not sure if it will wipe this stuff out any can someone provide some advise?

Other Parameters:
Ph: 8.1
Alk: 8dkh
Mag: 1380
Calc: 410
No4: 0
Sal: 1.025

Thanks for looking.

Dom

My eyes might be deceiving me but it looks like green hair algae.....? Whatever it is, the best thing to do is figure out what is causing it. I recommend using Salifert brand test kits to test parameters. Then, take it from there. I don't believe in the use of chemicals for every situation unless it is absolutely the last resort. But hey, thats me. I wish you luck! :squigglemouth:

Thanks for the replies. I was gonna try a 3 day no lights and see if I can correct it that way. I do hate using chemicals as well and pick up a few Mexican turbos.
