What do you do with your over grown corals? Besides cutting them back , what do you do with the pieces. I sometimes add them to empty places in the tank but you can only do that so often. Any ideas?

I thought it was pretty common to sell them to LFS depending on demand.

Start up a new tank. my son wanted his own reef where he could choose the fish. I put all my trimmings in his tank.

I used to sell them back to my local fish stores, Usually got store credit for them.
The nice part about this was whenever something really nice or new came into the stores I would always get a phone call because they knew I would eventually frag it and bring some back.
At least this is a good problem to have, means you must have your tank dialed in.... Good Job !

I did this for a while but people would come to buy $20 frags and stay at my house for 45 minutes+ asking questions. Hate to sound antisocial but it can be annoying

I know the feeling. that's when you meet them somewhere other than your home, like at a LFS!
