Over paid

Give it a bit more gentle flow and allow some time for it to adjust and inflate and see if it colors up. If it doesn't I'd take it right back.
Okay thank you

Let it acclimate first so the colors will really show up once it's fully open. Hard to tell from the pics as it's still very closed.

If it is a dragon soul torch then I would say that sounds about right.

Don't understand what other ppl are saying that they would pay $30 for a torch. Dragon souls are a high end piece hence the high end price. Not sure about the states but where I live in Canada torches at lfs would be at least $60 even for the common ones

Paid $100 for my dragon's soul, yellow seems to come out more in higher light.

Y are you keeping it in a qt tank? That tank looks like it has some string stuff on your filter and the rack looks like it has precipitate on it.. I would have dipped it and put it in an established display, with plenty of flow and good light.

So long as you’re happy with what you bought, who cares if you overpaid or not.

I’d never pay $270 for a frag of a single coral, no matter how it looked. For a full-sized colony, sure. But it’s your budget and your aquarium. So long as you’re happy with what you e got, who cares?

I know I’m always paying way too much for fish at my favorite LFS, but they go out of their way to take care of me and it’s really convenient to have a store like less than 2 miles from my home. In a round about way, you usually get what you pay for.

And risk your display getting ich or velvet?

No chance.

This naming thing is getting out of hand.
I’m getting way to old, who’s coming up with these names, Skippy in marketing?
It’s $30 for the torch and $240 for the name.
These are $30 dollar torches
But I do have some Super Sonic Blue Camel Wave Zooanthids.
