My tank is over run with unwanted zoas!! Liked them at first but now taking over my tank.
Want some advice on a good fish that will devour these things. I've tried but they only
seem to get ticked and spread faster:mad:. My tank is 90 gallons. Want them gone forever!!!!
THX GUYS

You will need to manually remove them . Might as well plan buying new rock if you want them all gone. You can sell the zoa covered rocks to others who want them.

to try and remove, They aree on the rocks where a lot of my SPS are!! I would have to just about redo my whole tank:(

Steve o you are the Zoa Whisperer! If they are that bad you might just have to do that.

Take heart, with those attractive zoas you can pay for the new rock work! Trying to make lemonaide out of lemons. :D

Where are you located at?

I hear you, I plan to cut some palys out of my rock after my Christmas party. Hopefully I'll have good luck. I'm leaving my utter chaos. Let's see what your problem looks like, show us a picture.

I can send you some water from my tank. There's nothing unusual about the parameters of it but it's guaranteed to stop all zoa growth... and as an added bonus they will also randomly wither away :D

If your in STL. and want to check them out PM me. This thread was just for some help on finding a fish that
may eat the zoas and palys. Most of them are in my rock work and REALLY not interested in major overhaul
of tank:(. THX: Oh yea I'm in Wildwood Mo

I sent you a PM...I'm just down the street in Ballwin
Hey. i'm just off Old State. Had a guy PM me about coming by and buying some off of me. Whatever he doesn't buy and I can get out:confused:
you can see if your still interested. I do have some SPS that I cut also, if your into SPS

Hey Steve o that looks pretty hard to get rid of without a rock breakdown. I wonder if a file fish or Angel would eat the zoas. What other fish do you have in the tank?

Bump for fish needed to eat zoas.
