Over size skimmer

I have a 60 gal aquarium with coral an fish.my question is I bought a RLSS DB 10 skimmer is very big can I used with my setup or is to big

This is a great question. First, it is overkill for a 60 gallon (A 6" would probably be fine); however, if it still skims (I wonder if it would be tricky to dial in properly with a highly over rated skimmer) then it really does not matter AND it has the added bonus of not needing to empty the cup very often...
