Can anyone confirm that over the counter - drugstore Fluconazole can be used to treat ie, Bryopsis - much less costly and more available where I'm at.

Thanks all!

Yes, the trick with using different products is to understand the concentration of the product needed and

Make sure that the components are not going to create problems, for example some products will have medication + other medications or ingredients (scent in bleach can make them not suitable for aquatic applications)

Generally, medicine is interchangeable. Often fish meds and people meds are made in the same factory and one pill ends up in the pet store and the same medicine lot also is used in the pharmacy for people.
Hope that makes sense.

Thanks - here's what the pharmacy box says on the one I saw:

Fluconazole 150mg, Colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid and talc.

I think I know how much power do add and if anything will add less...the other components other than Fluconazole I'm not sure how much they contribute to the weight, but less is more in this case.

Yes, the math to figure out the dosage is 150mg per pill, the other things on that list are not going to be a problem for this application.
