I might have over dosed magnesium is that a problem please help!!!! I was supposed to dose 18-20 but the cap popped off and spilled into the tank and probably did around 35 $&@&?!? ( not a bad word just ahhhhh) silly me that’s what I get for doing it over the fish tank. Will it be OK?

18-20 and 35 what? Milliliters?
What was your magnesium level and what level were you trying to achieve?
What's your tank size?
Magnesium levels don't matter a whole lot unless you get way out of control. You can just do a water change to bring it down.

For perspective, I have a 25 gallon system, and dosing 60ml magnesium (a mixture of magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate) raised my reading by 50 (from 1350 to 1400)

Test first before you do anything. Magnesium isn’t really that important. Randy just made a thread on how to never test magnesium lol.
