Overdose of iron supplements

Hey guys my new doser malfunction and dump 500ml of iron into my 100 gallon system.. what do i do! My water is in the garage and its 95 degrees, so an immediate waterchange isnt on the table... maybe in a few hours.. is that crazy amount of iron going to have bad consequences? I have lps sps and softies.

I haven't had this happen myself, but I know excess iron can lead to coral darkening. I would do a large water change (50%) when you can and follow that up with a few more 10-15% changes over the next week or so.

Hopefully one of the resident experts will also chime in with some additional suggestions.

Thanks, I hope so too... the water from the rodi is literally 97 degrees.. heres what im having to do the change this water. Had a small chiller so I have it running on the 16 gallon water change trash can.. literally gonna be doing this all night to get to 50% but im gonna do it

Add a bag or two of ice ( cheapest at Mcdonalds) to mixed water to cool down and do at least 20% water change
Do not use tap water which oftens contains iron
