When in doubt change it out. Then see what's up.

I don't know. do you think it would be smart to remove all the fish and coral from the fish tank ( most corals are frags sitting in the sand) and put it in a seperate fish tank for a few days until i get the water chemistry fixed ( only 4 fish and a dozen frags) or will I make that worse by stressing out the fish by trying to catch them then rehoming them for a few days?

I would have started as large a water change as I could manage.

yeah just did a water change hopefully everything will be fine over the weekend
