Hey Guys will be getting a marineland 180gal 72/24/24 and looking for a good overflow. Being that the reef savvy ghost overflow is out of stock would this be a viable alternative? Looking for any feedback or advice leading me in the right direction. This will be my first go at a setup of this caliber. Is 2000 gph enough? I was planning on implementing the beananimal in the external portion. So, would it not be capable of higher flow rate ?

Thank you

I too am considering this type of setup. I was looking at possibly using to of the smaller versions installed on either both ends or back wall.(add surface skim area) I would control the flow with the size of return pump. Are you getting the tank local? Everyone I have spoken with wants and arm and and leg. Are you planning to build a stand?

Have you considered Glass-Holes? I have the 1500gph on a 90 gallon DT

this is from November 26 2014. wonder what they got.
My belated input is to simply build one from pvc.
