Hello everyone. Im finally getting to setup a sump for my 65 gal. Its 18gal sump. Mt question is about the overflow and return pump. I researched for hours and got what i thought would work and they will be delivered tomorrow. I wanted to,make sure the pump i got will work with the overflow. I wanna do small regugium and have reef octo 110 space saver protein skimmer. Here is the overflow and return pump i got.id say theres 3-4 ft for the return pump to return up and using braided flex tubing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Im very nervous about setting this up but hopefully i can do it without any catastrophic events....lol

I think it will be fine. If you wanted to be sure, plumb a ball/gate valve on the return side of the pump. If needed to reduce the return amount, you can adjust it. Not recommended to alter pump intake nor to restrict the overflow. But with 4' of head pressure my guess is you'll be fine.

+1 @dbl I like the gate valve after replacing the ball valve. The gate valve is easier to make small adjustments:)
