Hi i have a overflow box coming tomorrow and its outlets are 38mm , 1/1/2".
My hardware warehouse stocks 32mm or 40mm .
And i cant see a reducer etc there for 38mm.
As the outlet is 38 id rather go to 40mm as id rather go up in pipe size than down.
any idea how to achieve this diy or other ?
Im in australia so we work in mm mostly hence the problem.

Thanks Mark

What size hole does the 40mm need and what size is drilled?

Hi
Sorry i forgot to type it's a Hob my tank can't be drilled , so the fittings on the hob are stated as 38mm but the PVC available is 32mm or 40mm

Oh, I see. I’d try the manufacturer. They might have a metric adapter for you.
