overflow box making loud gulping noise . Ideas to fix ?

My over flow box is making a lot of noise recently and I can't figure out why. I have change the sponges , clean the hosing and made sure nothing was blocking the U shape tubing . Is any any way to silence this? Thanks all hopefully someone can help me .

I use the Hofer Gurgle Buster in my HOB overflow. It took less than 10 minutes to assemble and costs under $5 for the PVC parts. its super quiet. My return pump is the only noise I hear!

If you snake a peice of air line into the drain it will break the gurgling noise
