New tank build and I need to plumb the overflow box. I've never plumbed one before so looking for some suggestions. The overflow box is is in the back left corner and the tank is drilled for (2) inch an half and (2) one inch drains, so a total of 4 holes. I'm thinking 3 drains and 1 return line that would have to go up and over the box. Any suggestions ?

I agree with your plan. If you haven't already, do some reading on beanimal overflows. That is a good 3 pipe drain system.

I would do:
1" siphon - this will need a gate valve near the sump
1.5" trickle that can become a siphon
1.5" dry emergency
1" return aimed toward the right, using as straight as possible PVC...or loc line if you must.

Thanks, I like this idea with the 1" main drain and same size for the return. Yes I need to explore the bean animal set-up.

For safety reasons, if the holes are different sizes, I recommend using the smaller one as the siphon and larger ones for backup.

1.5" siphon better to have the volume to compensate for loss from 90's 45's and other plumbing restrictions.
1.5" trickle
1" emergency
1" return.
i would use the 1.5" lines for main plumbing. just my opinion

i always see return smaller than drain. return is pressure, can deliver a lot more water than a gravity drain.

Would it hurt to use reducers to get the 1.5" down to 1" ? Just thinking if my sump has three 1" drains.
