So I just got a sump and I did adjust the water flow to minimize the overflow box noise , but then my water level became to low any other way that I can minimize the over flow noise
A vídeo I don’t know if it helps ... thanks

I’m on an iPad so I can’t see your video, but are you using an HOB overflow?

Can you give us more details, like maker of the overflow. Is it a ghost overflow or a hang on the back? Picture will help as well. I can’t see the video either.

Hard to tell but can you put another overflow tube in?
This would raise the level in the box.
Just for the heck of it remove the sponge first, with socks you don't need it, this might do it.

Are you using a gate valve to restrict and quiet down a single drain HOB overflow set up? Then having the water level dropping your return section? Or are you using a valve to dial down flow on your return pump?

If you’re using it on the single drain, I would advise you to never use a gate valve to restrict a single drain overflow set up, that’s a flood waiting to happen and why you’re seeing the water level drop in what I assume to be the water level in the return section of your sump. That single drain needs to run wide open. That will regulate the return section of the sump. In order to quiet an HOB overflow down, take a look at making a Stockman standpipe for the drain side of the HOB overflow. Replace that prefilter sponge set up as it will clog fairly quickly and throw water levels out of whack and potentially cause a flood.

Your description leads me to believe that you’re experiencing something somewhat similar to what this person went through in this thread.
