overflow box ... will this work

Hi All I'm looking at printing a PETG overflow box to tidy up a couple of garage tanks
would this work? and will i need to coat the outer box in something to waterproof it? short term I've had petg be waterproof but never tested it in the long term

So you would drill through the back glass to join the 2 pieces together?

That's the plan. i still need to work out how to get the bulk head in there but i could do with knowing if PETG is up to the job
