Looking to add an overflow box to my 50 gal seaclear acrylic tank.
My questions are I have a blue background and have talked to few places that can build one out of blue acrylic for extra. But it is possible to get a black overflow and "paint" it? Or has anyone else used a black over flow on a blue background? If so any pics?
Also I'm struggling to decide what size of overflow to use, I have a center opening around 15"x2". Would it be a bad idea to get a 16" over flow and mount it tight to the top? Thinking that the only way water and critters could get in the overflow would be through the teeth of the box?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
