Overflow Box

Fellow reefers. Can I put a couple pieces of some black foam to help quiet down the trickling water? I’m guessing I would have to remove and clean pretty often, but was just trying to quiet it down a tad.

As they clog up, you'll flood the box and overflow your water out of the tank and the sump will run dry.
What overflow are you using? What type of drain setup do you have?
